Gingered Pear Freezer Jam

Featuring Ball® Simple Creations® No Cook Freezer Jam Fruit Pectin
Makes about 5 (8 oz) half pints
You will need:
 1-1/2 cups sugar
 1 1.59-oz pkg Ball® Simple Creations® Freezer Jam Fruit Pectin
 3-1/2 cups pear puree*
 1/3 fresh orange juice, strained
 1 tsp orange zest
 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
 1 tsp lemon zest
 1 tsp ginger
 Dash of salt
 5 Plastic Ball® (8 oz) Freezer Jars

*Process canned, well-drained pears in food processor or blender until smooth.

Directions:
1.) STIR sugar and contents of pectin package in a bowl until well blended.
2.) ADD pear puree, orange juice, orange zest, lemon juice, lemon zest, ginger and salt. Stir 3 minutes.
3.) LADLE jam into clean jars to fill line. Twist on lids. Let stand until thickened, about 30 minutes. Refrigerate up to 3 weeks or freeze up to 1 year.
